Just in time for the Bundesliga fall season, Apple is bringing its “Apple Sports” app to Germany, expanding the availability of the app, which was previously offered only in select countries. It not only provides live scores, game results, and real-time statistics but is also completely ad-free and available to users at no cost.
Apple Sports Now Available in Europe
Apple has launched its sports app in Germany. In addition to Germany, the app is now also available in Austria, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Iceland, and Ireland. Previously, Apple Sports was only accessible in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and the United Kingdom. An iPhone with iOS 17.2 or newer is required.
Live Scores for Numerous Sports
According to Apple, the app focuses on speed and clarity to ensure a particularly user-friendly experience. “Apple Sports” allows users to follow results in real time, while the interface remains clear and straightforward. Additionally, users can select their favorite teams or leagues, providing quick and direct access to essential information at any time.
The app provides current scores, standings, and statistics for a wide range of sports, including soccer, motorsports, basketball, tennis, ice hockey, baseball, and American football. It serves as a useful and practical complement to ongoing TV broadcasts, especially for those who want quick and easy access to relevant additional information during the game.

Perfectly Integrated into the Apple Ecosystem
Apple Sports is seamlessly connected with other Apple services, enabling smooth interaction within the Apple ecosystem. Scores can be displayed via widgets on the home screen and through live activities directly on the lock screen—even on the Apple Watch. This way, users stay informed without having to manually open the app each time.
Those who want to watch games live can switch directly from the app to available Apple TV broadcasts. However, a paid subscription may be required for certain content, such as live streams.
