An air fryer can do more than just make fries and chicken nuggets. The hot air fryer is capable of much more, including recipes for low-calorie dishes or meals based on alternative dietary principles. Below, we have four low-carb recipes for you that you can easily prepare in the air fryer instead of the oven.

Low carb means significantly reducing the amount of carbohydrates. Instead of eating potatoes with a delicious chicken fillet or pasta with salmon, you opt for more fiber in the form of salad, vegetables with healthy fatty acids, and more protein (meat, eggs). We have adapted our favorite low-carb recipes, which we used to prepare in the oven or pan, for the air fryer.

Note in advance: Most recipes succeed in the hot air fryer without oil, butter, and margarine. For a touch of extra flavor and crispiness, we provide an option with oil. Use oil sparingly to avoid adding unnecessary calories.
